Peter Stobbe began maturing Stobbe Machandel in barrels as early as 1776. The Stobbe 1776 FASSFÜLLUNG also followed this tradition for the 240th anniversary.
Aged for 12 months in a bourbon barrel, the sharp tips of the coriander are rounded off. The “vanilla note” of the bourbon barrel gives the gin its special character at 43% vol.
The red cross on the clear bottle symbolically describes the cask gin with 43% vol.
